Peter, who studied photo journalism in Denmark, sees photography as a tool for satisfying a deep curiosity about the world around him. He likes the reliability and trustworthiness of working in a documentary style, and loves to dive in deep on a project. Take his award-winning “42nd and Vanderbilt” series: For this, Peter photographed a New York street corner again and again over the course of nine years. Using an almost scientific approach, he was able to capture how, with the passage of time, anonymous individuals subtly aged and changed.
Based out of Paris and Berlin, he is working internationally for editorial and advertising clients alike, combining his technical perfection with a touch of his Nordic calmness and dry humour.
